Fillings and restorative care
Treating decay and broken teeth, keeping the natural tooth whenever possible.
What it is
Restorative dentistry treats decay and repairs chipped or broken teeth with tooth-coloured fillings. The earlier decay is treated, the simpler the treatment. When decay reaches the inside of the tooth, a root canal treatment may be needed to keep it.

We check your bite and the finish of the filling.
- 4
Prevention
Advice to avoid new decay and the date of your next check-up.
Frequently asked questions
Can a small cavity wait?
Better not. Cavities grow, and the longer you wait, the bigger and more expensive the treatment will be.
Is a root canal better than an extraction?
Almost always. Keeping the natural tooth is, as a rule, better than replacing it.
This information does not replace an appointment. Results vary from person to person and depend on the dentist's assessment.
